Joint Repairing Mortar - Avcrete HSRM is a high strength repair mortar which is ideal for vertical and overhead repairs. It is basically a general purpose cementitious, hand applied, patch repair mortar with excellent anti-sag properties for overhead applications. It is ideal for repairs to sections upto 50 mm.

Technical description:

• Can accommodate: Depths to 50 mm vertically, 20 mm overhead and 10- 100 mm horizontally

Recommended applications:

• Reinstatement mortar for general patch repairs to concrete structures

Surface preparation:

• Utmost care should be taken to remove all loose concrete, laitance, grease, paint and oil through the approved method of grit blasting and needle gun

Curing:

• Immediately after the completion of troweling, mist spraying with water is required for curing Avcrete- HSRM
• In case of fast drying conditions, covering with hessian cloth may be required for supplementary protection

Exposed steel reinforcement:

• The steel reinforcement bars are subjected to grit blast process for removing all active rusting
• If mechanical brush or grinder is applied then utmost attention should be paid to the rear of bars

Warning:

• Substrate or air temperature should be maintained between 5 C and 35 C for repairing work
• For any application above 35, manufacturer should be consulted for instructions
